FARGO, N.D.--Bison fans can circle Wednesday, Aug. 18 on their calendar. North Dakota State University athletics Fan Day is free and open to the public and will be best opportunity for fans to meet and greet this year's team at the annual Fan Day activities.

Fan Day will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Fargodome turf with Bison football, volleyball and soccer players and coaches in attendance. More details on Fan Day will be available as the event draws near.

In a recent conversation with Coach Hinterstocker, he said the team has yet to start preparing for their first few games. “We are not doing anything specific,” Hinterstocker said. “We are getting the team acclimated to our style and system of play first.”

“Personally I am so excited and I just can’t wait to play those tougher teams,” Knuth said. “The best part of the season is playing teams that are really good and that you don’t get to see all the time.”

"Flooding outside Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. Reports from the Iowa State University Athletic Department indicate the court inside is floating on about 5 feet of water, all as one piece."
He also has a picture there that's worth looking at.

I'm guessing it is doubtful Hilton will be ready to go
on Sept. 3-4 for the tourney if it has 5 ft of water inside.
I've been on the floor there, nice place, sad to hear this news.

Iowa State has moved its VB to Ames High School
for this year.
It only seats about 2000 people.
Their Big 12 matches will be Sardine City.
