Day four: Getting aggressive

By Liz Mathews
....

The entire wide receiving corp was in action today, taking turns with the first team and Matt Hasselbeck. Kole Heckendorf had a couple of stand out catches before taking a mighty hit from Lawyer Milloy.

Lawyer Milloy is still playing? Isn't he like 72 yrs old ;)

Sounds like Kole is doing well...does he have a realistic shot at making the roster? Seattle is pretty banged up at WR aren't they?

It seems like everytime I read something about Kole, it talks about great catches he made. Isn't that exactly what you need in a good receiver? It sure seems like he could help someone. While he doesn't have elite NFL speed, he's probably faster than a lot of possession receivers in the league.

Sure hope he can make the squad.

Seahawks August 1 Practice Report: (http://www.fieldgulls.com/2010/8/1/1600172/seahawks-august-1-practice-report)

Babineaux worked at strong safety. He looked alright. On one play, Babs was playing in the box on the offensive right. The run went left. Kole Heckendorf engulfed Babs and neutralized him. Practice though. Practice.

Ten tough questions for start of Seahawks' camp (http://blog.seattlepi.com/football/archives/216258.asp)

How much will Burleson be missed?
I've liked what I've seen from waiver wire pickup Kole Heckendorf in the offseason work as well, but with 12 receivers coming to camp, that's a position that is going to be crowded with candidates.

Anyone that can catch a JP Losman pass has to be a fantastic receiver. That guy found a way to over throw everyone.
