Pre-season polls really mean nothing. As I recall, the conference poll 2 years ago had us finishing first, and we all know what happened after that......................................

The league isn't great right now, and niether is NDSU. 5th-6th sounds right, with 4th place happening if things fall NDSU's way.

The Great West doesn't have enough members to get a bid. The Pioneer League has applied for an auto though and they would get one if a spot opens up. Maybe UND should go non-scholarship....I'm sure the Pioneer League would welcome them with open arms.

Probably depends on whether or not SIU beats Illinois in week 2. IF (big if) we go 2-0 to start I think we're ranked #1-2 in conference.
