Saw something on the Continental baseball website, one of their new expansion teams the Desert Valley Mtn. Lions out of El Paso has hired former Bison player Chris Paterson as the head coach for the season. Congrats that's a nice job for him. I believe he is one of the youngest coaches in all of professional baseball maybe one of the youngest in history. It also said he coached in a pro Indy Winter League the California winter league along side some pretty big baseball names, it looks like he is doing well and hopefully a rising star from the Bison family. Hopefully it'll help give us a little exposure to our baseball family and maybe open up some new windows for our bison players. Here are the links to the story's
I also saw and researched a little that he has done pretty well for himself playing in Indy League and overseas good luck with the coaching

Well looks like Chris Paterson was named manager of the year for the CBL for the 2010 season. Thats pretty good for his first year with a expansion team.
Also their is quite a bit of news that he has been hired on to be the new Roswell coach for the New Pecos Professional baseball league. Rumor is he will be highest paid coach int he league as well. I guess he is making a name for himself in the independent baseball world.
