I am selling my custom tailgaiting rig. It is only 1 year old and works awesome!

This unit was the first prototype for my new product, The BarbeQube. I own a small manufacturing company that will be mass producting a similar unit with a full 4 burner stainless steel grill with a side burner for $1500.

Our website will be up and running this week www.barbeqube.com (http://www.barbeqube.com) and if you want to see one in person, we will have a booth at the Buggies-n-Blues car show in Mandan this Sunday.

This unit is constructed of 3/8" plywood fully skinned on the outside with aluminum. It has a steel frame and requires a class III hitch. It takes two people to install it onto the hitch, but it's pretty simple.

Now, here's the cool part. The front panel comes off and turns into a table and the top unfolds into side shelves. Inside is the grill and storage for the cooler, chairs, and other tailgating goodies.

The interior is painted with color matched NDSU colors and the exterior is skinned with custom designed Bison graphics from Dutch at Sign-A-Rama in Fargo (he does some of the big busses).

The unit is very sturdy and has about 2500 miles on it (I live in Bismarck).

Please post any questions you have directly in this thread.

How much you asking?

My dad, who lives in Mandan, has a new vehicle he will be debuting this fall and this would fit perfectly with his new rig.

I know I won't get out of it what I put in, but I'd like to get $500.

Sounds good...I've shown him this thread, but I'll need to get his opinion (he got another phone call when we were talking)...Maybe he wants a new one with the advanced grill? I dunno. Thanks!

I'd be happy to show him either one. Just let me know.

Totally unrelated but I bought my car from the people in the house across the street from you guys (judging by the picture).

Funny, small world. We've acually moved since that picture was taken.

Mostly superfluous comment, but I love the designs of stuff like that. Everything you need, packed on a nice little box and it looks good, besides. Reminds me of some of the custom-made camping trailers and hitches that I've seen.

That's exactly why I made it. The big busses are sweet, but a tad out of my price range.

Until you sell enough of these. ;)

Below are some pics of the new production model BarbeQube.

We made several improvements over the prototype. First, we added wheels to the unit so that one person can move it around. The wheels and legs also allow you to use it as a free standing unit.

Another major improvement is that a single person can install it. You simply insert the main bar into the receiver and then wheel it over the top and clip it in place then remove the wheels and legs.

The new unit is larger than the prototype with room for a full LP tank and extra space for storage. Finally, the BarbeQube incorporates a full 4 burner stainless steel grill with a side burner.

Again, we will have a booth at the Buggies-n-Blues car show Sunday June 13. Our Booth is located right in front of the Silver Dollar Bar. Hope to see you there!

I know the back of my grill at home gives off a ton of heat. Have you ran into problems with the heat from the grill causing any problems with the paint on the vehicle?

Not at all. There is usually about 18" to 24" of space between the back of the grill and most vehicles.

cool, I couldn't tell from the pic the distance between the two. Looks like a cool rig.

Also would work on the back of a camper. Always kind of sucks grilling on a couple small webers while camping but I don't want to load up the full size in the back of the pickup. That could be another group to market to that might get some sold.
