Just a quick note. I am a former Bison football player and this year I ran the 2010 special olympics powerlifting meet. I asked Coach Kramer if he could get me some help to set up the meet. Garret Bruhn and Boen Anderson volunteered to come help me set up the at 7 am. They worked all morning and Bruhn came back for the meet in the afternoon and stayed to help till the end. It was not a deal where they just showed up, had there names announced and then left. Nobody knew who they were, they just wanted to help.

I was starting to think that Bohl might be recruiting the wrong type of kids but if the the majority of the guys in the program are anything like those two it makes me proud to have been a bison and to continue to support the program as a fan. Great work guys!

Great to hear these types of stories. Just wish the local media would tell them more often.

We all know that for every student athlete that makes it into the news for the wrong reasons, there are far more in the program like these two guys.

When I first saw the thread title, I was afraid to read . . . Oh no, what happened now! But you can rest easy with these two guys. Thanks for posting.

Class act for you to give back after your playing days and for these two young men to give their time. Very impressive. Keep it up.

Thanks for sharing. Bison players from all sports have been great at giving their time for years. Also, like Burgandy said thank you for giving of your time. Its sets a good example for the guys playing today.

The ass kicking will come if the right kids are there. These sound like the right kids....
