Dude, kid's got some moves. Nice shooting stroke, excellent dunk, he's got the length, and he's not afraid to take a shot with someone in his face. Stoked to have this guy playing for us.

I think one of the newbies from Illinois said he is a streaky shooter for the 3. I think the video might show at least part of the reason. He shoots a fade away in almost every shot in the clip. A shooters feet should land in the same spot they go up on. It's a habbit and one that is certainly able to be relearned without affecting his shooting stroke. I guess what I'm saying is that we should assume that he'll be able to improve his outside shooting and he already has a high 3 point FG percentage. That is good news for us.

Watch the video again and then watch the MIke Felt video to see a diference.

Right around 2:10 is where you have to love Baxter's height - he gets caught up in the paint and uses his height to create a shot over a shorter defender. Love his tenacity around the basket, having him as a rebounding threat in addition to our growing front court is going to be a great asset to have. Thanks for the link.

To add another important tidbit, Peoria Manual is one of the strongest high school programs at any level in Illinois (consistantly). Good to see him perform well against a school like that.

How did they lose that game? They never missed a shot and had stops 100% of the time? Seriously he had several shots where he made nice bank shots.
I like bank shots.

Watch NDSU's highlight reel from last year, youll ask yourself the samething. Judgeing by that video we won the superbowl.

Hey now, I shot him an invite to a pick-up game over the summer and he's down, looks like we're going to find out.

(granted he's going to have three or four inches on anyone).

That's exactly what I took out of this video. He is able to hit the contested shot which is definitely underrated. A lot of times you see highlights of guys just breaking ankles against inferior competition and don't really see them against someone in their grill while taking shots.

He also looks extremely smooth and has a great stroke.
