Since he is a Sophomore he can not be drafted before next year fortunately for the team. The draft can be funny sometimes. No guarantee he will be drafted early. But he has made a great case for himself to be watched closely by scouts next year and this summer.

Matt Mann lead the summer collegiate wood bat Northwoods League in batting average and doubles his junior year against teams loaded with D1 players while NDSU was D2 and he didnt get drafted.

Piepkorn never got drafted either despite his huge power numbers. Since he was a 5th year senior he signed before the draft after his senior year where he likely would have been drafted.

The season may be over, but Zach received one final honor. He was just selected as a second team Academic All-American for baseball.

I wouldn't say one final honor. Pretty sure the honors he is going to receive for this year are just beginning.
