Whitney Carlson's LJ win at Drake Relays

Whitney Carlson broke her own school record (by a quarter of an inch) and won the Drake Relay's women's long jump competition. Her winning jump of 21' 1 1/2" is tied for the 4th best jump in the nation thus far this year.
This is a huge accomplishment for this fantastic student athlete.

Failed to mention that additional congrats need to be extended to Kristen Killoran who finished 5th in that same event (Women's Long Jump: University/College Division). She leaped 20' 1 1/2".

Please take note that only 5 women in this division jumped over 20 feet and 2 of them were BISON. The list of finishers below these two NDSU athletes is littered with representative from big track schools from all across the US.

Whitney's leap also qualifies her for the US Championships in June. I will be there, so I am hoping for many current and former Bison to be competing. The A standard is 21 feet even and the B standard is 20' 8".
