Sophomore pole vaulter Leslie Brost broke her own school record by 4 inches this weekend clearing 14' 1 1/4".
That's an impressive mark for this young Herdster.

What is the NCAA qualifying mark for pole vault?

Athletes are unable to qualify for nationals by performance since they started to hold Regional championships. Leslie has already qualified for Regionals since the standard is 3.85 meters and her vault this weekend was 4.30 meters. 3.85 meters is about 12' 7" so maybe Sam Kouba can qualify. It would be nice to have as many Bison at Regionals as possible.
