Big frickin' deal, if your school doesn't have the number one beside it who gives a shit. If you're trying to say a few of the schools listed above NDSU were better, get a clue, this means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Tough year for the Bison, yes, and I hope all you ass clowns are having fun while you can because it isn't going to last long.

So, it took you from November until Valentine's day to figure out that our 3-8 football team was not in the running for the playoffs, while your team was in fact in the running for the playoffs?

I'll speed up the next part for you...you are NOT in the running for the 2009 NC anymore. :(

Interesting.

It only works this way because how do you give an NAIA school a GPI ranking?? And it also doesn't help that CalPoly was grossly overrated this year.

The GPI is only important to people with Chinese mail-order brides and those trying to justify that their team is more important than they really are.

...so say NDSU was ranked in the top 10 in the GPI....would it be important then?

If you mean, if we were you? Not really, then we'd still only have 1 playoff appearance in the last 30 years and still totally suck as a program.

I can see your point for the first part of your post....but to say we still totally suck as a program???...does that then mean NDSU's program is beginning to suck ;)

What does a #10 GPI finish look like in a trophy case?

Answer: The same as a #68 finish

...and yes, the GPI does appear to be a 'who gives a shit' poll.

See, I read the poll 1 minute ago and I already forget.

Now seriously Rabbits, you don't need to run around posting this stuff, you already beat us and made the playoffs. We won't forget that, you don't need to run around posting some bizzaro poll like a UXD fan.

Now for posting and highlighting that UND was ahead of us in this cockamamie poll, that was a low blow. I will have to counter with a low blow...

I've had my drinks for the night, capn and coke, olymipic drinking game....It was a good time.

Now I check my computer and this is what I see. I go from semi-drunk happiness to a cold-sobering slap in the face about last year's football season...not what I needed. Especially the shot about UND, those damn mint green turtleneck wearing, hockey puck brained, cake eaters...can't even beat NAIA teams and are highlighted above the Bison.

So I had to go there.

I don't think they have beaten us in 60 years, but don't tell them that(Griz fans can be a bit sensitive about it). I wish I could find the youtube clips of that game, that is a lasting memory unlike some GPI poll.

Great post NDSUStudent! Bwahhahahahahaha!:rofl:
lmao........lmao........lmao! I had yet to see the ESPN highlight of SDSU's demise. Rep to you!
At least when NDSU has been on ESPN there were great things happenning. Even the loss in the dance was a positive due to Woodside's 37 points. Then there was the awesome ESPN highlight of NDSU beating Minnesota. All SDSU got was embarassment.
When will you learn bunnyturds? Your football program had a few good games over the past several years, one or two against NDSU, and now you think your team is among the elite. And if NDSU is as bad as you are trying to paint us now there how big of a deal were those games. Take a reality check......just like what happened at Montana.

I don't know what GPI is but it appears to be as meaningless as Sagarin rankings people use to make their teams appear better than they are.

GPI is bad, but debating whose ESPN highlights are better is just sad. I'm not siding with SDSU on this, but you have to realize how pathetic that looks?

Until this post, I've been impressed with your behavior as a visitor to our board. Do me a favor and re-read your words above and tell me that you didn't type them without puffing your chest out with the "my God, we are so much bigger and more important than you" attitude. Do you realize how difficult it is for small schools to get any sort of national attention? In addition, if you don't have a dog in the fight (rivalry discussion) why interject at all?

ISU doesn稚 get much national love either, so I知 hardly puffing my chest about it, but I still think it's dumb to argue over 30 second highlight clips that nobody saw, when you just played Kansas on CBS for 3 hours. Argue if you must, but if you really want to be on ESPN, just have somebody strip naked at the next basketball game and you値l make it on Sportscenter. Any volunteers? They値l probably even use it as their lead in. Up next on Sportscenter, Bison in the Buff!!! It may be cold outside in North Dakota, but inside....

We were once #10 in RPI
