[Facts]

Twas the night before signing-day, when all through this blog,
all bisonvillers held their breath, and not from fargo's smog,
the verbals were posted on the recruiting sticky with care,
with dreams that come wednesday, real signatures would be there,

the bloggers were typing their posts on the fly,
in hopes that Zach Vraa wasn't going to UNI,
and Slick in his sweater, and green man in his suit,
had just gone to Bdubs for some wings and 'das boot,

Twas Signing Day Eve in frigid North Dakota,
celebration was had with beer yet for KyRo, 'twas soda.
The rubes were skittish this Signing Day Eve,
hopeful that Bohl would pull a kicker from his sleeve.

Burgundy threw down some stats which Kermit confirmed,
while Ming looked at fundamentals and Lakes....churned. [butter]
Sav yelled "DAS BOOT" and the 'gaters came running
to see if this class would truly be stunning.

The Jacks fans were jealous, one could surely bid,
making claims of "just waiting for the right kid."
The Bison rubes laughed and they drank like paddies,
ready for the team to lead them to Chatty....s?

So 'twas a night of excitement this Signing Day Eve,
the rubes were hopeful they would not have to grieve,
for no football team wants to be 3 and 8,
so a few more hours we must still wait....

until signing day.

Bison coaches were all roaming their familiar FFD range
Their work might be done assuming no FBS change
With Cooper by with the phones and Bohl in his cap
The coaches settled in for a short winter’s a nap

They awoke to the clatter of a fax machine malfunction
But soon it was fixed and the boys started coming
A couple of surprises were noted in the stellar ‘10 crew
A commit to the gophers decide to spurn the great Brew

When all said and done, 25 young men had committed
Including Littlejohn, Vraa and Carter, but no one to kick it
Then declared Bohl as he smirked to the press
It was the best day ever, and a Whale of a Class

Fans were hoping and praying for a new kicker,
To bring in more players would make the bunnies sicker.
On Vraa, On Allen, On Thorton, On Wilson,

To repeat 3-8 would be a misery,
Tatanka still wants a signee from Missouri.
Tomorrow will go down in Bison history,
But yet we must wait, as the recruits are still a mystery.
