What an idiot. Note to assistants/others on the bench, leave the yelling/talking, mainly to officials, to the head coach.

When I was a student manager for Bison football, I was taking defensive stats behind the endzone during one of the games in 2004, and Shamen ran back a huge kickoff return towards me, and I stepped out of my designated area to high five him, and it was caught on the game video, and I was reprimanded for that. Just THAT. So I can't imagine a student manager actually verbally abusing a ref.
