Deborah came .01 from tying the all-time best time in the 60m. She's from Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago but apparently the change in weather isn't hurting her times much. With Tingelstad in NDSU's freshmen class, that means the Bison have added a whole bunch of speed. Look out Summit because NDSU is quickly developing a track team that wouldn't look out of place in the Big 10 or Big 12.

Um, Summit has already had their troubles... or NCC for that matter. If you want to see amazing records look at women T&F since the 90's.

Sometimes we are able to get athletes that were recruited by some larger schools and for some reason were not able to sign them whether it was because of lack of scholarship space or admissions. So they will actually call Ryun up and tell him about these athletes. I believe that Deborah is one of them. This is what makes track different than most sports. If they can't compete for my team, send them to a coach that you like who is not in your conference.
