I'm pretty impressed with how well this young team is playing already. I think we have a good group that is going to do some great things at NDSU.

Yeah, I wonder how many of those points were scored right after she made a steal.

Hannah is 3-5 from beyond the arc. The backcourt is hitting on all cylinders as Inger and Katie are in double figure scoring.

Was wondering about that - ORU played like they were tired against NDSU - they might be running on vapor now.

DeHoff said that ORU was the best team in the league and while Bunny fans took exception to her saying this, the Bunny team took it to heart.

Bison put Centenary down like they should. WHile we hit the road against the lower tier of the conference this weekend, we have to play with some swagger as we haven't played exceptionally well on the road.

Yeah, I don't want to get negative after the nice run the women's team is on but attendance needs to improve. Something has to be done to get rid of Monday games. Kolpack was ranting about it on the radio today.

There is also no excuse not to do doubleheaders on Saturday like SDSU does. I don't care if it might cause a headache to arrange it, it needs to be done, the women deserve the opportunity to play in front of nice crowds.

802 fans for the 1st place ladies. I agree...the way to draw some attention to them and get more people there on Mondays, is to do double headers where the Men's fans decide to arrive a little early and take in the end of the Women's games on Saturdays. You have to admit it is kind of sad that a team that didn't even qualify to go to SF last year can become "the best in the league" with the addition of one solid freshman. I mean come on. ;)

A) Doubleheaders will never happen on Mondays. For the most part, the league has women's games on Sat & Mon and men's games on Thurs & Sat.

B) Who are you talking about?

Reread my post...I said the way to get people there on Monday is to expose them to the product on Saturday and hope if the product sells itself, that they will come back for Mondays game. I NEVER said I wanted the Men playing on Mondays. ;)

I gotcha ;) ...I believe SDSU has something like 4 Saturday doubleheaders this year...most other years it's been a couple at most. I agree, as long as the league has men & women playing on Saturdays there should be a way to make it work that both are at home if at all feasible...

We have had 0 in the last couple years. We added 2 this year. The ticket was I think $18 instead of $12 for a single game. Unfortunately, a lot of Men's fans that wanted to attend the Mens game only arrived shortly before the game was to start and were shocked they had to pay $18. They said they didn't know anything about the promotion and rightfully so since it was the first time they did it in several years. Anyway, some refused to pay $18 for the ticket, as the Women's game was already over and they simply left. ;)

Does SDSU sell separate mens and womens game packages for season tickets?

I still maintain that since NDSU sells separate packages for Men and Women that they are not able to schedule the double header games. The seats next to me are a prime example. There are different people holding the tickets for mens games vs womens games. You be the person to explain to one group or the other that they have to move because the seat is sold twice for a doubleheader.

I doubt a person will be upset if NDSU gives them comparable seats. I could see this being a problem if we had 4500 season ticket holders but the number is more like 1500 right now. If you work out all conflicts prior to single game tickets going on sale there shouldn't be a problem in making everyone happy.

Something has to be done, the women are playing at the worst possible times...they have no chance.

Nope. Season Ticket purchases at SDSU are for Men's and Women's games, so the ticket holder has the seat for all home contests. I think they start at approximately $300/seat.

I'll just say this, the fact that we were able to do this for two games proves it can be done.

All I am asking for is that the four league games the men and women play on Saturday be done in doubleheader format.

On November 27th you both had a ticket for the Ball State Women's game at 5 and the Wisconsin-Green Bay Men's at 7:30. The ticket was good for that particular seat for both games. Now I could theorize that neither of you looked close enough at the ticket and he got up and left as soon as the Women's game was over and there was not an issue. BUT, I guarantee that what ever seat you were assigned for that game was good for BOTH games. AND it's going to happen again on February 27th. ;)
