Just turned on the game tonight. The Bison trailed by as many as 12 in the first half, but have a one point lead with roughly 16 minutes remaining.

It was a hard game to watch.

At least NDSU took better care of the ball. NDSU wins by 8, btw.

Some thoughts;
I was surprised to see Whitney play tonight, yet she played
many minutes. She was holding her hand up on the bench late
in the game so I'm sure it was bothering her.
Abby had 1 pt. and 3 fouls. Everybody played tonight.
#10 for Northern had 27 pts., about half of their total.
She was fun to watch, and she's a darn good player.
Jill & Janae didn't get alot of time, Ashley got a bunch of minutes.
About mid-point of the second half -- Bison were shooting 30%.
Bison didn't have so many turnovers this game, Northern did.
I don't know the total TO's, but roughly Bison 7-8, Northern 20?

Well, at least they won...

How many turnovers tonight? It seems like they're always able to get open looks. I hope the conference season gets here soon...

It sounds like a good time for the Holiday break.

Is it just me or does this team have 10-12 interchangeable parts? This group is so much different than last year simply based on depth. If I were the coach (disclaimer: I'm not a great basketball mind) I would pick two groups of players, 5-6 each. Play them against each other in practice scrimmages and drills, and roll them 5 at a time during games. Run the heck out the other teams with 5 fresh every two minutes. I don't know... this maybe the hockey coach in me coming out, but I love rolling quick shifts. Players stay fresh and want to get back out because they are full of energy. Does this ever happen in basketball?

Dave Krauth at Augustana would do 4 or 5 players at a time.

I remember the one time that Krauth pulled that on us. He put in 5 new players, Amy immediately put in 5 new and we increased our lead. Those were some fun games with Augi when Julie Krauth was playing.
