you are joking...right?

I like Dahl...but....ah, do what you want.

I was thinking the same thing. I voted for him anyway though. He's going to have a hard time beating out Sharper for the fan vote.

I didnt think i would get flamed from posting this.

He is a bison, he is having a pretty good year, and its a fan vote. Since it has become a fan vote, it has become a popularity contest and not a game for the best players.

Hey, it's all good. I think that you hit it squarely when you said it has become a popularity contest. This is the reason that the balloting is so stupid to leave to the fans. If you are going to vote, be honest. Look at the candidates and pick the best representative for that position in the league.

It's the same with the MLB. Josh Hamilton should not have been in the All Star game last year.

It'll be good PR if he makes it.

Don't forget about the NBA? Is T-Mac still leading the voting without playing a game?

And this would be where you are wrong...

NFL Pro Bowl vote is only 1/3 fan vote. He could get all the votes in the world, but there's no way he gets the ones from the players and coaches that count. For example, if Pro Bowl ended today the Vikings would have 11 starters (12 if Favre eeks out Brees, last I checked he was about 200 behind, but that was a day or two ago)
