They better check the rim heights - Bison have missed three 3-pointers badly so far.

18-7, Bison. Bison can't hit a three but they're playing good D.

NDSU women to watch and WIN plus Ravens to cover +3.5 and their defense needs to score twice ahh should be a good night on the couch, eh tony buddy o pal??

Half-time Bison 27, WIU 18.

Weird half. NDSU was having trouble getting a shot off and had some goofy turnovers. WIU looked awful at times - tons of turnovers.

Tiny crowd... less than 200 (might be 20 behind the benches.)

Heh, NDSU got a point during half-time (they checked the replay on a shot and found out it was a three).

Bison 28, 18. We won the first half and the half-time!

Interestingly, SDSU didn't have an easy time with IUPUI tonight - it was pretty close.

NDSU is on a 16-point run so NDSU must be up by... oops, WIU got their first basket of the half, now it's 41-20, Bison.

Holy cow, I was only out of my lair for a couple minutes and the Bison dropped the bomb on them. Did somebody turn on the Hannah Linz Scoring Machine (c)2009.

How good is this team going to be by tournament time? Burich isn't even playing is she? They could make a run at the bunnies.

57-28, Bison under a minute. Our announcer got pretty dang excited when WIU finally scored.

It's over, Bison win 57-31. Tied the record for fewest points allowed in a modern game!

This team is becoming to be scary. So well coached. The kids are buying into Carolyn's program, which obviously is pretty special. The last 4 games without Burichh. We might give the best team in the world, the Jacks a run this year.

Way to go defense!! And it's great having a bench which has gret prospects of prodcuing double digit scoring.

The 31 points (5 of which were scored in the final minute) matches the league low in the SUmmit. The record, unfortunately for WIU, always comes against them. The Leathernecks were held to 31 points by IUPUI (2007) and the Bunnies (2009).

Weird game, the Bison weren't playing especially well. They showed some flashes but WIU was having an awful day. WIU scored 8 in one 53-second stretch about halfway through the second half but those were their only points until under a minute to play (so basically, they were scoreless for all but two minutes of the second half.) And, oh yeah, WIU went 0-6 from the free throw line. Ouch. I mean, NDSU was playing defense but WIU couldn't shoot.

Hmm the ladies have some good success this year after the men last year top it off next year with BOTH teams being good and then can we get a new facility for them!!!!

Go LADIES!!!
