I'll make a guess that this has as much to do with travel expenses as anything...and...whether I like it or not, it has regional appeal as well as the connection to the NCC, and some of the playoff games. Hard to believe we played these guys for the national championship. They had an outstanding team. Unfortunately for them, we had Bennie & the Jets. I totally agree about playing a Montana school.

Get em up here to see our atmosphere and tailgate scene! I gotta imagine it's bigtime compared to theirs. I feel pretty strongly that our tailgating is one of the best in the FCS(atleast it was when we won haha). It feels like an FBS tailgating on a smaller scale.

Right now there seems to be more buzz about tailgating than there is about the games. I bet when we play UND the tailgate will be huge but the buzz will be about the game!!!!

The USD game is now listed on the 2010 schedule for Sept 25th.

We are also scheduled to play in Vermillion Oct 12, 2013, and the Coyotes will play again at the Fargodome on Nov 22, 2014.

Also, 2013 is a 12-game season, so we can still have 6 home games plus an FBS game. As of now, we've got USD away, Montana State at home, a slot for an FBS, and a slot for a home cupcake. Seems like a win-win to me.

And don't plan on staying overnight unless you make reservations early at the only motel in town or if you plan on shacking up with a sorority girl.

The amount we bring to away tailgating will be bigger than the entire lot for tailgating in Vermillion. That's not an exaggeration. And don't lump me in as one of the Vermillion bashers, as I expect to have an outstanding time at Carey's in about an hour.
