This was updated today. Looks like another verbal out of Nebraska. From what I have heard, this kid is very good. My contact at Nebraska said that he is a high end athlete with a crazy good motor.

This is a fantastic signing for NDSU.

A running back/linebacker seems like a pretty good combo. Hopefully he is a tough player.

A white ramon humber??

great offers from other teams..,,?

Hallstrom said on the news that NDSU was his first and only offer. Another kid the staff got on early before other teams did. Sounds like a great kid and a great get for the staff.

The way it sounds he was planning on walking on at Nebraska.

NU really wanted this kid as a walk-on...he was on their list of about 30 kids that they had targeted to be preferred walk-on. Tough kid and a very good athlete. Big upside.

It will be interesting if we hear how hard Nebraska pushes him to walk on. I believe they hit some SDSU recruits hard the night before signing day a few years ago and SDSU lost 1 or 2.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up playing. I would bet LB but only time will tell. Maybe his measurables will translate into football power and speed and maybe we see him in the backfield.

his mom said he is a 4.0 student who wants NDSU because of the engineering program. so doesnt that give the edge to NDSU over Nebraska anyways?

He was interviewed on the radio by Hallstrom and Scott Miller last night, and he said that he was recruited to play Middle Linebacker. He said he will have an opportunity to play right away or redshirt. Really quality interview. #1 in his class with a 4.0 GPA.

Regarding the SDSU kids that went to Nebraska to walk on, that was because the walk on program was being started again by Bo Pelini after it was discontinued by Callahan. I think that tradition is built up again, and they aren't getting as many kids per year into that program. He stated in his radio interview that he was very impressed with Fargo and NDSU and was very excited about the offer. He sounded very down to earth and ready to play for us next year. 6'3 215 is great size.

I hope this year's recruiting class will enhance the team.
