I watched the ORU report this week and usually it is the same old, Men's highlights with a talk with Sutton, then Womens highlights and coach interview. Anyway, this week they did something cool. They interviewed the Assistant AD whom has been charged with adding suites to the Maybee Center and got rid of prime press row. The seats were sold as a "courtside" premium and the press was moved to a baseline. Interesting stuff...check it out. Food for thought! ;)

Didn't NDSU have a basketball show when we were D2, then they stopped doing it once we were in the Summit?? What's the deal??

My FAVORITE epoisode was when the Fab 4 were red shirt freshmen and Timmy Miles took a camera crew to West Acres...Tim pretended he was a reporter and stopped people in the hall (most of which were wearing something NDSU) and asked if he could ask them a few questions. Started by asking them who the leading scorer for the Bison basketball team was too which he got blank stares and concluded by asking them (after knowing no player answers) who the head coach was. NO ONE said "You" or even knew the answer. A couple said, "Irv Inniger?". It was hillarious . No one could make fun of Timmy better than himself (well maybe Bucky at TeamMakers but thats a whole nother story). The best part of the whole story is obviously most now know who Saul is, who Tim was, and Tim is laughing all the way to the bank. ;)

UMKC flat beat themselves tonight, just got done wathcing the game on the DVR. 8-18 from the line, yes 8-18 was the sole difference in the game. Oh and for the math majors who are going to say they lost by more than 10, there were a TON of 1 and 1 missed thus not even giving them the 2nd shot. ;)

One last thing, I don't know what ORU's Maybee Center holds, but it has 1/3 full for every game I have ever watched outside of the NDSU game there last year. It has got to be embarassing to have all those gold seats nationally televised empty every night and when I watch Womens game highlights on the ORU report, their is NO ONE there. ;)

Their place certainly was full last year for the NDSU game. I did get on their fan's case and they responded back but all in all they were pretty cool about someone cheering for the other team. A couple of them came up after the game and said some nice things about the Bison, considering they had the crowd against them and they played from behind most of the game.

I wonder why the horizion wouldnt readmit or why they didnt go to the horizion when they came back to D1 anyone know?

My guess is that the Summit gives them a much higher percentage shot at the auto bid every year. ;)

Only seeing scores so I don't know what is actually happening but the half time score is MU 26 ORU 24, so apparently MU scored the last 12 pts of the first half.

Sorry, NDB2, I didn't see your post. I was only watching the updates in the KC Star web site and not paying attention to other posts.
