According to the NCAA, we still have the 8th highest average home attendance in all of FCS football!

Not too shabby at all, especially for a 2-7 team. Glad to see fans are still coming out in support of the Bison. Bison will be back, no doubt about it.

I honestly think that the great tailgating atmosphere and the other things that elevate this to an event instead of just another game really help out. The tailgating at the West Lot is nothing short of incredible!!

It does lend credit to those of us that, even though we piss and moan on the program, we're still bleeding green & gold!!! Some moral victories the rest of the season are in order, IMO.

I know tailgating has helped this, but it will be interesting to see how many show up next week and then what the turnout is going to be next season.

Won't be there next week due to family commitments. My brother and his son are my proxys. I do plan to renew my tickets for next year. Love the low-end section 21 crowd.

No Matter what some people say the team deserves the support, the Seniors deserve the support!!!

Maybe Terry V. should divide total attendance by number of wins. :)

Mrs BisBison and I will be making the 200 mile trip for the season ending fball game along with the bball game and vball championship match that night. S/B a great day of being a spectator. Hopefully we'll be able to squeeze in a little tailgating b-4 sitting the rest of the day.

Great ideas for Terry's next article:
Talk about Stig being a great person.
Talk about how they recruit the "right kid."
Talk about how they recruit a "different kid."
Talk about how their recruits don't care about facilities.
Talk about how SDSU beat NDSU on a kid....then backtrack off that later after he was told by the kid that SDSU was his only offer.
Talk about how the ask their recruits if they like to hunt and fish.
Talk about how they get more bang for their buck with their smaller budget.
Finally, tell us that sometimes Stig doesn't tell kids about the Dykhouse Center because you don't play football in facilities.

Wait, maybe he has covered all of that. I suggest he simply tells us that he is dying in Brookings and would love to come back to the big city.

BisBison, I'll try and hook up with you on the 21st. Some things we have to catch up on. Hot tip....you might have to leave the Idaho MBB game at the half. You might want to be at the Volleyball game real early to get in. No one goes to the Bison volleyball matches anymore bucause it's full!!! Last Saturday for the SDSU match it was 3/4 full at 6:15 and they actually quit selling tickets.

This.

According to the Hinterstocker presser they're looking at options for more seating to try to get capacity up to 2100. Having said that, getcherasstotehbunkerearly.

Exactly how do you get to 124.78% of your stated capacity? Could you imagine the FFD with another 4,600 stuffed in there?

Could probably hang a few thousand of these from the ceiling.

Making a baby sit inside that thing all game long.

Good view of the fire works, though.

Its kinda like SDSU if they had a real fan base that showed up. They could just pile people into the track area and go over whatever they consider a sell out.

Some of those stadiums have hill seating that is counted in seating but in the end you can just keep squeezing people in there.
