I think the wabbits played a lot better than their record shows. There were some digs they got even after the crowd was cheering that we scored a point.

It was a pretty exhausting match for the fans!

I heard they quit selling tickets at 6:30, saying we can't hold anymore. What does a season ticket holder do when they show up at 6:45 (which is not a bad time for a ticket holder) and there is NOT a chair back in the house??? ;)

Here's hoping we can keep this momentum going into the Summit Tourney! Heck of a crowd to see a heck of a game tonight, easily the closest/most nerve-wracking match that's taken place in the BSA in the last two years!

That match was nuts! I'm physically exhausted from the intensity. SDSU had a great team tonight. There were a few times were I wanted to kill the refs (I didn't know an elbow was a legal hit), but kudos to the Jackrabbits.

And we finally beat them in something this year!

Wow that was an exciting match but tiring as well. I'm so used to the Bison thumping their opposition and that was a marathon to say the least.

The Rabbits did play out of their minds, digging almost everything the Bison could hit at them. The Bison were very fortunate to get out of that match with the W, I was having flashbacks of the SUU basketball game last year for while.

Congrats to Erich and his squad on not only taking NIU's record but finishing the regular season sweep of the Jacks!

Could you imagine the pregame speach of the SDSU coach??? It was really hard to see. Was suprised to see so many unforced errors from the Bison and so many phenomenal digs from SDSU. Made for a really exciting match though. Looking forward to the tourney!

Great Job Bison!! Getting it done, now to finish the season with no losses.

As for the seating someone mentioned in another thread, that they would probably be setting up bleachers in each end of the area for extra seating.
I was not there, but think that would be better than folding chairs.

Watched on pay per view. SDSU was definitely hot, digging out of their mind. We did seem to have alot of unforced mistakes..I hope this wasn't typical. Couldn't hear a word the announcers were saying. Could use a scoring line on bottom of screen...they had to keep going to score board then zooming in to see the score. Perhaps a great game to have before the playoffs. Now they know they have to keep up the intensity to stay unbeaten. Whoever dreamed volleyball would be a revenue sport for the Bison!!

FWIW, the seating brought in is probably more comfortable than the new bleachers - they are the stacking style chairs. Also, on the band side they were put on risers for a bleacher height effect.

As for the match, SDSU played and lucked out of their mind. It was the first competitive match at BBF in a long time. Aiding that were lots of uncharacteristic unforced errors and for the Bison. Anyway, was a fun match and atmosphere, glad to get the w.

around her shoulders. (I thought she may not be feeling well?)
When I talked to her after the match, she was in very good spirits.
I'm sure it was Mattie's night to shine.
Jacks played Vastly Better than when we went down there.
I was at both matches, and the Jacks looked like a different team
at the BBF. Look out if they make the #4 spot in the tourney.

Yeah, I assumed it was because it was Senior night but I didn't want to speculate. J-Lo played the entire match the prior saturday so I was surprised to not see her in until the third set instead of the second. Oh well, nothing wrong with having Mattie in.
