This is laughable... according to this poll we're better than Oral Roberts, IUPUI, and SDSU

On the one hand this poll is a joke because it's the power conference teams trying to tier college basketball (notice how teams like Gonzaga and Butler who are hardly Mid-Major are included) into the BSC and little guys.

But... anytime our league can gain recognition it can't be all bad. And no matter how far NDSU falls off I wouldn't rank Denver above them.

I don't know about that, I think we very well could be better than those teams. It isn't like they are without their questions. SDSU did lose 20 games last year, ORU did lose Lewis and Jarvis plus their stud freshman pg. IUPUI wasn't anything special last year.

It would only be laughable if we were ahead of Oakland and we are miles behind them in this poll(288 points to 14).

What I find laughable is that South Dakota and Chicago State are getting votes and those other teams aren't. What is up with that?

How is South Dakota on there??

I have no idea? The only DI teams they beat last year are UND, SIU-Edwardsville, and New Orleans.

Still people on the coasts trying to figure out the difference between xDSU and UxD. No way USD should be picked in any poll.

George Mason should be #1 easy, they have without a doubt the strongest recruiting class out there.

Other than that I'm stoked NDSU's getting continued recognition!

iupui, oru and sdsu deserve to be on this poll more so than we do... they return most of their teams. we lose 3 of our best players ever

We lost great players but if our program is going to be good other players should step up. Tveidt could definitely be a top 3 player ever, he has that kind of talent.

I still don't understand how a team that hasn't won a league road game in two years is automatically better than us. They should have to earn that respect.

I do agree about ORU because of Sutton, but they did lose about half of their scoring from last year. I wouldn't say they bring most of their team back.

For the record, I think Oakland is the only team that should be ranked, no other team in the Summit deserves to be right now.

Many Milwaukee Panther fans as well as myself found it funny that the poll lists us twice in the "others receiving votes" category lol...We have 36 votes as one name and 10 as another. Apparently UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin-Milwaukee are 2 separate teams LMAO.

Yeah and apparently they are both quality seeing as how they are both receiving votes LOL

Wisconsin-Milwaukee Vs. UW-Milwaukee the Inter-School Rivalry which is better than the in-state or inter-city rivalry haha...

Apparently someone mentioned it to the website though cause they just fixed it to show UW-Milwaukee with 46 votes...

well they have NDSU with 14 votes and behind teams with 13 votes. Not that it matters but it shows their commitment to getting things wrong!!
