The Bison can clinch the top seed in the Summit tourney with wins this weekend. In fact, I think they can clinch it tonight with a win over UMKC.

Live stats are up and the video just started working.

Bison lead in the first set 20-14.

Wish I was there.

Bison take first set 25-17.

And they can clinch tonight.

The Bison will match the longest conference winning streak in the history of the Summit if they win both games this weekend. (Northern Illinois won every conference game they played as a member of the Mid-Con - 34)

13-7 Bison in the second set. Time out.

Bison score three quick points before another time out.

16-7 Bison.

Wow just taking UMKC to town. It sure would be nice if the cameraman showed the scoreboard occasionally.

It would be nice if they had a digital score board at the scores table that they could put the score on like at basketball games. Either that or put the score up in the corner of the screens like they do for any other sports on TV.

I just want a cameraman that doesn't make me feel like I've got H1N1.

What a complete shellacking of UMKC last night. WOW. And I wonder if the real attendance was 1100... there were lots of people who showed up late.

Either way, if you haven't gone to see the #38 team IN TEH COUNTRY by adding to the #23 home crowd IN TEH COUNTRY, you should.

Overheard behind the UMKC bench: "holy crap look at all the people!"

Great time last night. I think the last time I was in the BBFH I had a corduroy blue jacket on...

Interesting tidbit buried in today's Forum article. There's a proposal before the Summit's president's council to allow the reigning champion to have first dibs at hosting the next tournament, and the proposal is expected to pass. It doesn't say if other sports are involved beyond volleyball, but I bet it also applies to soccer, baseball, softball, and maybe the tennis, golf, T&F and S&D championships. Basically everything but basketball, which will continue to be determined by a host bid on a neutral court for the foreseeable future. We could start seeing quite a few Summit tournaments in Fargo every year.

Well, plus or minus soccer. Kind of hard to host the tourney in Fargo on the tundra... :(

Getcherticketsnow for next weekend vs teh Rabbit.

Bison can break the Summit record for consecutive league victories. And the smart money is on the Bison to do exactly that...

Congrats ladies.

In both senses. We lost to them in soccer, today, too.
