Just a quick explanation for my light-heartedness tonight: I've gotten used to the losing by this team. It doesn't affect me as bad as it did a couple weeks ago. Not watching the whole game tonight also helped as well. I've also had a few. I don't know if I'll show up with a paper bag on my head next week. But I'll still slog through the last two home games.

If this happens the whole staff should be gone and have their resumes shredded on the way out because after that nobody would ever or should ever hire them.

Nothing would piss me off more than seeing Mohler in the game. Nick's a senior and deserves to play out the rest of the year. Jose can wait, there is no rush to put him in this season. Also, I love an offense that doesn't throw the ball downfield. That's not football! 3 yards and a cloud of dust for me.

I forgot about that. That was stupid. I know what he's thinking, re-kick, shamen bust one loose and it's a huge momentum swing. It's wishful, maybe even desperate thinking and it's just another type of decision that loses games for you. Go with the odds and the odds are you aren't going to do much better than the 40 on a re-kick. If fact, I'd wager that the odds are greater that we fumble the ball on the re-kick then returning past the 40.
