The sheer quantity of coverage TV supplies got the Jacks is very impressive--but he is a huge homer. It reminds me of the days of Virg Foss and Ryan Bakken at the Grand Forks Herald!

I listened in today and thought it wasnt that bad. The thing that pissed me off was the WDAY round table. They didnt know much about the UNI-Pashcall deal. And I feel that the Bison are a little better than what there making them out to be. Oh Well...

Hmm.... let's see. Let me summarize the discussion for you:

One poster says Vandrovec is drinking blue Kool-Aid. But he's from North Dakota. Then another person says "converts are the loudest voice in the choir," meaning he's converted to a South Dakotan so he's therefore a big booster of SDSU sports. So I respond that maybe Vandrovec says good things about our team because they're good and note that YOUR beat writer agrees.

How's that not related to what's being discussed here? Can you follow that progression?

I did hear Terry V on WDAY earlier yesterday and he was definitely at least sipping some of the blue and yellow kool aid. Nothing entirely wrong with that, just saying.

Rationalize all you want, the reality is NDSU is 1-5, Bohl is 7-10 with his recruits. There is nothing in those numbers that warrants the use of the term "better". :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

T-Vac provides great coverage for the Jacks since he's been their at the Argus Leader. Everyday in spring training he's got at least one blog entry on them. We have a media blog with 2 guys posting to it and were lucking to get 3 updates a week.

Why would you expect Terry to be pro Bison. They don't sell many Argus Leaders in Fargo. Terry has always been a professional. We hav'nt had anyone who covered golf well since Terry left. Terry and Dave Kolpack both did a great job.
