Bison won the first two sets, though they never had a big lead.
Jacks first lead of the night came in the third set, 0-1.
Jacks went on to win that set. Bison came back to win the fourth.
I didn't write down the scores.
I don't know the announced crowd number, but I'd say maybe
700-800 fans in attendance?
It was their Breast Cancer Awareness/Dig Pink event.
Bison players wore pink tops and black shorts.

Just a note that Florida State, a team that NDSU took to 5 games in Tallahasse, is #19 in the nation.

Dormie, here's my version.
I was sitting (bleachers) near the Bison bench & on the same side as the SDSU students. The majority of fans sat across the way, in the chair-back seats. Not many students in attendance, maybe two rows in the center section. Many of them were standing, nearly half of them at the railing.
I did go & talk to a girl & guy at the rail, both very friendly and polite.
I heard & saw nothing that was unsportsmanlike. I didn't see anything happen, and never heard any overly loud or obnoxious yelling.
Whatever happened must have taken place at the other
end of the students??? Bison would've been down there in set #2.
I was surprised by the article in the paper. I didn't know anything
had happened until then. Personally, I had a nice, enjoyable
evening at Frost Arena.

It would be best to know Which Side of the court and Which End.
The Forum article didn't give much info on the suspected incident.
I don't even know what was supposed to have happened?
I'm Guessing it had to do with yelling at a player(s)?????
All I can say is that I didn't see/hear anything bad happening.

They talked about this incident for a few minutes on WDAY this afternoon. Terry V was on from Sioux Falls and he said that they had changed the seating configuration last week that put the students seating right up to the back of the benches whereas before they were pushed back.

The first row is now elevated. It is the scorers table, then
a walkway behind, then the railing and the first row of seats.
You are not that close to the edge of the court, even
in the front row.
I should add that there were no SDSU students behind the Bison
bench, as far as I recall?
Whatever happened must have been in set #2, when the Bison
were closest to the SDSU bench????
It sure would be nice to have more info!

Were you there? ED seems to think everything was ok, and he was there....did this maybe get blown out of proportion?
