Wow, what an opportunity for Kole! The Lions are a struggling program - just waiting for legit talent to step up and make a name for themselves.

Good luck Kole, go Lions!

A perfect place to get started. Who knows, the Lions may have an NFL team someday. Heck would be a good start. An intelligent 'gamer.'

Exactly. And with a rookie QB in Matt Stafford, it gives Kole the perfect 'in' to become a key part of this team for the future.

Really looking forward to seeing Kole give Detroit something to hope for.

Great news. I just checked out the lions website. They have a ticket and all you can eat and drink concessions for $57. Downside is you'd have to watch the Lions, but that's a pretty good deal.

I hope Heck gets the job....... This will give me a reason to watch the Lions.

Awesome! I couldn't stand pulling for one of my favorite college players on the team I hate the most in all of sports.

Good luck Kole!

....you know, with their record, they'd probably be game for tryouts, yeah?

I'd still rather go a couple miles west to the MGM. 2 people can get a heck-uva meal at Wolfgang Puck for not much more than that. Better entertainment too. You get to watch hundreds of Detroiters putting the last of their life-savings into endless rows of slot machines.:smh:

I believe he's "day to day."

The Lions are actually starting to turn things around. I was at the game on Sunday, and they probably should've been up at the half. Stafford missed a few throws, but not by much. As he matures a little bit they'll be ok, especially with Calvin Johnson.

Looks like he didn't make it in Detroit but is going to get a shot at Miami and Cleveland.

I'm not sure what is going on with the blonde with the sunglasses on the top of her head, but she looks to be doing some up close cleavage inspections or is just plain passed out.

Who knows, the Lions may have an NFL team someday.

Funny you should say that. It appears from this news story that they are working on it...

10/12/2009 The Detroit Lions place CB Eric King on reserve/injured. The Lions also place DT Mathias Askew on practice squad/injured and release WR Logan Payne from the practice squad. The Lions sign WR Kole Heckendorf and DT Jervonte Jackson to the practice squad.
