Hey, one I was at! That was fun...we weren't "supposed" to win that, there was a fairly small Bison contingent on hand, and the silence in the stadium after we won was awesome!

As I was watching this, I thought it was the trip we took down there in 97 or 98. Babich's first year. This game was alot more fun than that one. Stupid inadvertant whistle changed the whole game that first time around.

Remember going to my dad's pharmacy to watch that since we couldn't get local channels on the dish. Good times. Big reps to CA!

Anybody know why the hell we were travelling there for the playoffs??

We would've had 3 times the attendance if it was in Fargo.

Because we were seeded fourth in the North Central Region...Home field for the first two rounds of the playoffs was determined by seed. We were also on the road the next week against Nebraska-Omaha...However, it was up to the NCAA to send us to Delta State the next week, which was a huge screwjob.

OK, thanks for the correction. I assumed that there was no seeding back then. It was Delta State that was the screwjob, I remember.

Has Lamar showed any respect for NDSU lately? I mean, donations, Alumni, coming back being supportive? He was a beast, but what else has he ever done??? If he has done any of this, I have not heard of it.
