Wagner Throwing Lights Out Lately

Former Bison Neil Wagner has really thrown well over the last month. He has not allowed an Earned Run since July 11 which was 10 appearances ago. He has struck out 20, walked 4 and scattered 8 hits in 13.1 innings since then in his setup role.

Wagner continued to throw well the rest of August. From Aug 4 through the end of the season he threw 13.2 innings, struck out 19, walked 4, and allowed only 2 earned runs giving him a 1.32 ERA over that stretch. His AA Akron Aeros are now in the Eastern League Playoffs.
