This is exactly how the fan base needs to think. It's not kool-aid. It's confidence.

looks like a pattern of wins that should have everyone excited about next year. Sometimes those down years are essential to refocus and remember how much it takes to win it all.

Keep the faith. Your team deserves it.
Take it from a Alabama Crimson Tide fan, the down years are painful. But programs with a winning tradition always rise back up.

The others are flashes in the pan.

From one of the newest of fans...GO BISON!

Forgive me for my skepticism CrimsonTider. Been burned a couple of times by trolls with another username.

I like what you just wrote here...and agree fully. You understand what a winning tradition is about...and how to respond to the down times.

I remember when the Tide won their last national title. Was it at the Fiesta Bowl? Not sure of the year or which bowl it was. But I 'do' remember being happy about it. Beat Auburn for me...OK? Do you play Florida? If so...have them for lunch if possible.

I remember Babbich's last year and thinking man we're gonna suck for awhile. But a caller on his radio show called and pretty much said the same thing and low and behold we came back.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I was so bummed after that 2002 season, similar to the letdown at the end of the 2008 season. But then we stepped up and beat Montana the second game the next year and I forgot all about the dismal '02 season. ISU could have the same effect:nod:

It is the sign of a champion, or at least a championship caliber team. Those that can bounce back are feared and revered...those that can't, play football in Terra Haute.

This is certainly encouraging. My prediction was 7-4, but then again we may be 8-3 or 9-2 and in the play-offs. It is a little reassuring that 6-5 is considered a "down" year. LET'S GO BISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
