Laura Hermanson was named the Summit's May/June Female Athlete of the Month. No big surprise there.

Laura was also named a first team Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Amanda Benz was selected for the second team and Whitney Carlson was selected for the third team. Laura was the slacker of the group; she only has a 3.94 cumulative GPA compared to the perfect 4.00 the other two carry.

By the way, only Arkansas and Tennessee tied our three selections and no school had more.
