I'm creating this thread to bitch about something that happened to my vehicle this weekend.
I went out with my buddy, another huge Bison fan, this weekend in Detroit Lakes. After a few too many beers, I decided to leave my Blazer at the bar and take a cab home.
I didn't pick it up until about 3:30 yesterday afternoon, but when I got there, I noticed that some dickhead decided to rip my large NDSU Bison decal, leaving half of it on my back window and the other half on the ground.
Needless to say, I am still pretty pissed off...Granted, its only a $10 item I can purchase at Scheels, but its the principal of the matter. Yes, I have a great dislike for UND and any related merchandise. Would I make a comment about it to my friends? Of course. But I would NEVER deface or vandalize anyone's property.
Anyway, I just wanted to vent a bit. I'm not assuming it was a UND fan, as was just making an example. All I know, whoever did it, should be real proud or him or herself.

Several years ago while living in the twin cities, someone keyed the side of my car while it was parked in a parking lot during the day. Of course someone must not have liked my MN license plates, "NDSU".

Didn't someone's Bison flag get stolen at Montana State a few years ago?

I know the feeling. My wife and I stayed at the Marriott City Center during the NCAA tournament. My wife had written on her windows with window chalk for the trip down (Go Bison type stuff) and we came out to the parking garage to find that somone had written a bunch of crap on our windows. A** holes.

Things you don't mess with:
1) A man's dog.
2) A man's woman.
3) A man's vehicle.
4) Texas.
Generally I'm not a violent person but I'm not sure what I'd do if I caught someone messing with my car, even with something as small as a NDSU decal. I imagine I would be raining pain down on the offender and somebody would have to call the paramedics.

LOL...Yesterday, as I was standing in the parking lot of the bar, I looked at my wife and said, "You don't f**k with the Bison." She knew I was serious.

Any chance that the location had a video camera watching?

That's a good question. My guess is no, but I'll look into it...For the most part, I think their cameras are inside only...It's a pretty visible area right off the lake, so cameras in the lot would be a stretch.

last year i went up to GF to visit a friend and somebody tore off my Bison bumper sticker... boy that pissed me of. Of course I got a bigger and better one now...
Probably our bad, but in 2004 we drove the van down to the SDSU game. Guess we got in a hurry to get into the stadium, but we left the window flags on. Yeah, they were ripped down. Never did find them, just the broken clips.

That would be Bisonfan1. It was more than one flag stolen and set on fire, fiberglass flagpole ($150 wonderpole) broken, bottles thrown at the Battlewagon, etc, etc.....
Some really nice fans in Bozeman and some really, really bad ones. The cops were worthless as well.

The Van Club did the same in 2007. Our flag pole was ripped down and was never seen again. It was one of the 6x10 Green ones from Scheels. Ripped the flag right off of the rivets. That capped an extremely crappy day. I wanted to destroy that town.
Rise above the scum, Bisonville.
