We're trying something new on the moderation side of things, a post approval feature. I'm just putting the warning out here in case I've screwed something up and it disrupts your normal posting. It shouldn't affect any registered users.

It will not affect you tjbison. It will only affect certain users.

Yes, it is but it's selective so it should only affect folks who get put in this special group. I've already implemented the change and, as you can tell, it didn't delay your post's appearance at all (or at least I hope it didn't).

Now if a user gets consigned to this group, yeah, the delay could be pretty long before their post gets approved, although I will try my best to keep up. It's a less heavy-handed alternative to banning people and a lot more effective than having to clean up certain users' posts. Of course, since it is less heavy-handed than a ban, it's going to get used more often as well.
