Ekermans was let go from the team. There was no chance in hell that he would have started either. He has been on a steady decline since coming in two years ago and Coach Brown felt it was finally time for Shannon and the Bison to part ways.

Great pitching performances on both sides...Bison have a chance to win this series with Straka and Wentz left to pitch!

ORU takes game 2, 5-0.

Weather looking bad for tomorrow, so we might end up with a 1-1 split.

I don't know why they didn't hope for at least one game tomorrow and therefore, throw one of our horses in the late game and hope for the series win today by takin 2 of 3 guaranteed before you even went to bed tonight. The explanation I got was that they will either play tomorrow or not, not get one in and not the other and therefore, the horses pitch and we hope for two more wins and a 3-1 series win or we are rained out, split, and our horses get 2 weeks rest. Either way, BGDM got the game winning hit ball from the most significant baseball win since starting the transition. Therefore, I am stoked. Good luck tomorrow guys! ;)

Who is correct? :) WDAY TV Kupeck report 0 - 1 inches of snow for Fargo, 3 - 5 for Jamestown, yuck. A friend said KVLY 11 said a "chance of flurries".

Thats a pretty wide spread forecast. Anyone know who would be scheduled to pitch game 1?

Freshman Glenn Parker was the starting pitcher in the first game on saturday. He struck out 6 batters, many of those with men on base. It was his FIRST start of his career! Nice job Glenn!

Will there be baseball in Fargo today? Livin outside the area . . .

Game 1 was scheduled for noon, but the live events page on gobison says a rain delay until 1:25. It's overcast and cool with only a very light drizzle in south Fargo, so I don't know what's going on up at the field.

Well then they definitley will only play one game today. On the bright side, if we can win the 1st, we win the series, on the dark side, we should have throw one of the two the second game yesterday, knowing we'd never get two in today. ;)

Rained out...series ends 1-1. Too bad we didn't pitch one of the two (Wentz ot Straka) in the late game yesterday. Could you imagine ORU hasn't lost a series in 12 years and we hand them the 1st WITH A SWEEP! Oh well, a split is great and I think we hold on to 4th place. So, next week.....;)

would have loved to have seen wentz throw vs. ORU, I think he could beat them...

Problem I forgot was that their pitcher pitched a complete game 2 hitter. So, he would have had to have held them scoreless for 9 innings and we would have had to win it again in extra innings. ;)
