MOST IMPRESSIVE IS THIS ONE!!!!

I predict (big stretch of a prediction:p ) Kristen Killoran breaks that one this spring.
Personal best was as a junior in HS at 19'8". (I think that's accurate)

I think Hermanson's 800 meter time is the most impressive. I agree Tony. Looking forward to seeing her run at Drake this weekend.

Just to expand on why I think Hermanson's 800 meter run time is the most impressive. For one thing, she set the record very early in the season (hopefully she keeps improving through the season). Plus, didn't she set the record the day after chopping nearly 8 full seconds off NDSU's 1500 meter record?

if a girl from Duluth East HS can almost win the Boston Marathon,

then the 2 laura's can do anything in USA Track!

I think Hermanson's 800 is the most impressive record right now. It's the only mark that would consistently be considered a top time in the nation. I think Leslie Brost has the potential to set a pretty impressive pole vault record. She went 13' 9.25" indoors I think. She will go higher outdoors and in years to come.

Here's a few videos from Mt. Sac last weekend....

airwaveslave: good post and video links. I predict Hermanson will hit personal bests at Drake this year. Great competition and I think the weather is going to be good.

Great videos, airwaveslave. Hermanson looked really strong in the 800 she just got boxed three lanes wide on the home stretch or she would have been right with the Michigan runner (who ran the best NCAA time yet this year). That Michigan runner is pretty dang smooth though.

Well, Leslie Brost hit 13-9.25 in the pole vault so that's some new competition for most impressive outdoor record. Wow.

Per Tony's request, I'll chime in here.

My official vote would have to be Hermanson's 800 record, but it is worth noting that Laura has had the benefit of having the best competition while others before her did not. The past greats such as Nancy Dietman and Lisa Ristau had to go to Drake or nationals for top notch competition. Laura goes to Florida and Modesto. It makes a huge difference.

No contest for women's indoor:
Penny Ensrud in the high jump- 1993 5' 10 1/4"

Hands down! No arguments!
