The transition is complete. It took an event of this stature to do it. We have proven to ourselves...and to the nation...that North Dakota State University can compete in any arena...whether it be athletics, academics, or other activities. Now the real work begins.
It'll be a hell of a ride. Somehow...I think most of us knew. We saw it at the dome against the Gophers...and we saw it again today. It's real. But this wasn't just about NDSU. It was about the state of North Dakota. We will never be cinderellas again. The name is in granite.

PS - That's as big a crowd sound...or bigger...than I've ever heard at an NCAA tournament game. You guys were simply amazing. Words can't describe it.
