Hey gang Swag has a problem with his computer. I believe that there are corrupted files and need some direction as to how to fix this problem. The main error has to do with the dhcp client . He had a dns changer trojan that we removed about a week ago. Problem is the dhcp client will not stay running. So internet on the desktop has been spotty. Keeps saying Identifying even though it is hooked up directly to the router.

Any tech guys/gals out there able to help?

From this technogeek's perspective: save what files you can and reload the system.

I agree with Tatanka - save everything and reinstall Windows etc.

It's a great time to make backups of all the photos and whatnot you have on the machine.

Yep we did a re-install. Most everything was on my laptop so he did not lose anything on the desktop that could not be replaced.

Thanks for the responses guys.
