The meaniful and permanent bond forged amongst themselves as a team is something that will carry them far beyond their basketball careers. I watched my alma mater take the defending champs to the brink today. There is no better feeling to know that our little school that no one knows about can compete with anyone on any given day. People out here confuse North and South Dakota all the time. I have denied being from North Dakota (although I was born there), but today I am proud of what NDSU was able to do today. You had a good showing and hopefully this will elevate the status of the Summit League.

NDSU has been and will continue to be a good partner through the transition and beyond. I can't think of a better university or group of people to be associated with.

As a Jackrabbit grad and future KU grad, I am sure no one really gives a flying fart what I have to say, but I had to post to offer my congratulations and applaud an amazing performance.

NDSU was the real deal this year. I personally thought they got jobbed with a 14 seed to begin with. Much better than a 14 seed. Your season demonstrates exactly what I hope the Summit League can aspire to across the board. The Bison should take pride in elevating the performance of our conference.

Ben Woodside is unreal. I haven't seen him play live since 2006. I applaud Tim Miles and Saul Phillips for molding him and those other seniors into the team they were this season. I am also not going to cry seeing him leave after the way he raped and pillaged his way through Frost Arena the past few seasons.

The Bison represented the Summit well. Here's hoping to raising the whole profile of the league.

Outside of the top level of NDSU administration*, I can't think of a group of four individuals that has had as great an impact on NDSU over the last decade as Ben, Brett, Mike and Luke. No other four students, at the very least. We expected football to be successful, but men's basketball has been a huge surprise. And best of all, they did it the right way with hard work, perseverance, and never letting up with their studies(I'm looking at you, Brent). Their place in the Bison Hall of Fame is already reserved. Andre, Tom & Lorenzo will also be remembered. The "new guys" can now step up and show their stuff. I expect the non-conference schedule might get ugly at times as the team finds a new equilibrium, but I think they will surprise many of our conference-mates once the league race begins.
