The Alumni Association has done an incredible job lining up the Ugly Mug to be Bison Central at the DANCE! The whole place is decked out like Bisonland with Bison stuff everywhere. Here are a couple of pictures from last nights bash where all had a hell of a good time!

The DJ booth let all know who owned this bar for the DANCE and the Bison Fight Song was played regularly.....

The local organizing committee establishes local gathering places for the teams months in advance and assigns them once the teams are known. Not sure if this is the desginated place we are using but it is likely. Setting up these events is something the Alumni Association does very well! When they do the satellite games for football, they send the coordinator a very nice set of prizes and promotional materials, more than I'm sure many D1 schools do. They were doing this in the D2 days when the game was Bison-Sioux. Thanks for sharing the pictures with those of us unable to attend. While you are all having fun, I'm sitting on a 3-hour sales pitch teleconference. I guarantee everyone is having more fun than me right now!!

Having a screwdriver and chili at the Alumni Pre-game. This place is rocking. (And my head is a bit achey.)

As annoyed as I get by many of the people on here (Bison fans included) I had never felt a need to add someone to my ignore list. Congrats to RockChalkJayBlog for being the first. I know you are still a college student but you should be more mature. Seeing comments on this board (and other online forums) saddens me to see how people treat each other these days. People would never ask this way in person.
