Just to let everyone know get a hoel room asap!!! The WCHA final five is in the cities the same weekend...we got a hotel room over a month ago and there was not much left to choose from!!!

I think the entire Eastern portion on ND will be in the cities this weekend...Sioux hockey and Bison basketball...Crazy!!

Every downtown hotel that I checked when we got home had rooms available...but I'm guessing that won't be the case for long!

They were talking on another thread about the Millenium downtown having rooms. You could use Zoob for the promo code and it was $69. That is a nice hotel and is sort of within walking distance to the dome.

That is where we will be staying and that is the code we used. You can get 1 king or 2 double beds.

You bet, it's on Nicollet Mall and that's a great price.

I am booked at the Millenium....Thursday-Sunday. They said the Kansas fans are only booking for Thursday night because they are expecting an early exit. ;)

I booked a room for Friday - Sunday and I live in the Cities. For $69/night at the millinium, that is insane! My round trip cab ride to EP from downtown and back is like $75-$85 anyway. :nod: :nod:

or just hop on the tram and i think its a fifteen minute ride from Nicollet Mall to the dome... the millenium is a bad ass hotel whenever we are in the cities for car shows its very nice...

We are staying at the usual hotel down by the airport. Embassy Suites. Since we are bringing the 3 year old and won't be able to party downtown we will stick to our normal hotel and close to friends down there.

I just picked up a reservation at the Millenium. I still have my Hilton but I think I'm going to dump it as it's twice the price.

Got a reservation for Thursday night with the understanding that we could play at 11 AM Friday. Now, Sav said Woody texted him and said we were playing in the evening, but I will wait and see. Still waiting on tickets. If I get all session tickets, I'll be there Friday at 11 anyway. So, we'll see what Lakes produces for tickets and we'll go from there. ;)

Via Priceline.com... Hyatt Regency starting Thursday for $50/night plus taxes (approx $65/night but doesn't include parking). Used the Name the Price function for 4-star downtown Minneapolis hotel.

Location is on Nicollet across the street from Millenium. Unsure how long it will last.

I believe the Marquette has specials for under $100 Thurs-Sun and is within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants right there, and Marshall Field's right across the skywalk to keep wives happy.
