Matt Bishoff to DI championships

Matt Bishoff will be competing in the heptathlon march 13-14 in College Station TX. He is the first Bison men's track athlete to compete in the national championships.

Even though Matt has the lowest qualifying point total, he pulled off a clutch performance in the high jump to move into 9th place after the first day. He is on track to eclipse his total from the conference meet and his best events are on the second day. He is about 50 points from 8th place and becoming an All-American. Way to go Matt!

North Dakota State senior Matt Bishoff became the first Bison men's track and field athlete to earn Divison I All-America honors as he finished 11th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Divison I Track and Field Championships with a score of 5,423. He was the sixth place American and the top eight Americans earn All-America honors.
