For those who go back to the glory years of the 60's. We just lost Benny today. Very little info except he passed form a heart attack this morning. (Sat. Morn.) Gary was a off. tackle when the Bison came to life starting in 1963. He was a good guy.

Avid fan of his alma maters football team. Our thoughts and prayers for Gary and his family.

Gary was another one of those Old Bison who really cared about the program. No one was on more foorball recruiting websites than Gary. He was one of those who helped start Bison Football. It just goes to show you how life can pass before you. I sat next to Judy and Gary on Monday at the funeral of Bill Silver. His passion will be missed.

Bison Nation lost another good friend in Gary Benson. Gary was a great player in his time, and he was passionate about Bison Football to the very end.
