Thursday
IPFW 55 vs IUPUI 57

ORU 64 vs SUU 46

Saturday
Oakland 81 vs IUPUI 76
IPFW 82 vs WIU 74
ORU 93 vs UMKC 62
Centenary 68 vs SUU 79

Game of the Week ORU at SUU- The Thunderbirds are fresh off of a huge upset over NDSU and a win over ORU could give them a lock on the four seed and would keep their hopes of a possibly getting the three seed alive. For ORU, NDSU's loss meant they are still alive and that the conference title could very well be decided on their home court in Tulsa as long as they don't slip up.

Struggling-Centenary and UMKC are both stuck in 5+ game losing streaks but fortunately one team will have to win on Thursday in Kansas City. While a loss for UMKC would be no big deal but for Centenary it could very well mean the end of their Summit League tourney hopes.

My GOTW: SDSU at NDSU hands down in my opinion. I can't wait to see this great class of seniors play one last time on their home court against our biggest rival!

But go SUU. A home win against ORU would sure help us right about now as far as seeding goes!

Power Rankings...

1.NDSU- The Bison recovered nicely from their stumble against SUU by throttling rival SDSU and outlasting UWM in their bracketerbusters win. UWM was 12-2 at home and was fresh off of a win over Butler.

2. ORU- I think this video link will do a better job than I ever could of describing ORU's domination in week 9..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGHqGKRbP2U&eurl=http://orusports.com/talk/index.php?topic=6253.0

3. Oakland- The Golden Grizzlies have put a lock on the three spot, at 5-0 Oakland is turning February into a month to remember.

4. SUU - The T-Birds had a chance to make some real noise against ORU last Thursday but SUU couldn't pull back to back upsets.

5. IUPUI- The Jaguars continue to play good but not great, and that helps propel them to the 5 spot in the inconsistent abyss that is mid-to-lower levels of the Summit.

6. IPFW- Dane Fife's team had a big win at WIU last Saturday, now the Mastodons have a chance to jump in the rankings as they host UMKC and SUU this week.

7. SDSU- The Rabbits have clinched a spot in the Summit League tournament, which means SDSU won't need to win a road game on order to get in. SDSU is 0-16 on road over the past two seasons in league play.

8. WIU- The Leathernecks have lost 11 of their last 14 but luckily for WIU Centenary can't get a win.

9. Centenary- The Gentleman have lost seven straight games, and now just cling to hopes of making it to Sioux Falls.

10. UMKC- In the game where something had to give against Centenary UMKC ended what was an eight game losing streak.
