Looks like we did OK in filling the dome. Over 18,000 average and 6th in the FCS.

Looks like if NDSU were to go over 19,000 for all games it would could move up to 5th, but the top 4 are several thousand above.

I guess I don't find it strange that the Forum story did not mention who was above, and how many fans they had like the NDSU press release.

Today's article in the online Forum is a teaser. The whole story will be in tomorrow's edition. Let's wait a day to pass judgement.

You may be right, but I don't think there will be much of a drop-off. Good FCS game for an opener 9/12=sellout; Ill St for Homecoming Oct 3=sellout; UNI- Oct 10=sellout; Mo St-10/24=16,500; Youngstown St-Nov 21= 17,000; we average 17,920. Any other guesses?

You also have to consider the record...If the Bison go into the last two home games with a strong chance of winning the MVFC title and going to the playoffs, those last two games will draw more.

yeah you guys are right, but I'm really worried about the fair weather fans we just don't have that many DIE HARDS, I'll go weather or not the product on the field is geat or poor.

I can understand that...I remember going to some of those games during the 2002 season, which we were 2-8...Not too much excitement back then. Because I have season tickets, I refuse to miss a game, considering that it would be a waste of money not to go, regardless of record.

Here is the release from GoBison.com. It lists the top 4 and the Bison:
1. Appalachian State, 2. Montana, 4. Delaware, 4. Jackson State (all listed in order by average number)

I'm sure that it will depend on how the Iowa State game goes. That could make or break community interest at least early on.
