I'll be honest, there are days when I wish NDSU was getting a FBS QB transfer for the 2009 season. I dream about a Joe Flacco type coming from a place like Pitt after an unheralded career there and coming to NDSU and leading us to the promise land.

Unfortunately, those dreams appear to only come true for FCS teams along the east coast. Devlin just transferred from Penn State to Delaware.

Sorry Izzy, that wasn't my intention, that is why I posted it under DI/FCS news. I purposely didn't want to cause undo excitement.

Actually it would be missing what I called the "Joe Flacco type". You can't possibly saying you wouldn't like to have a player like him come in with 2 yrs of eligibility, would you.

I know, I know, if wishes were fishes...

Do you think there will be any transfers after spring football ? Maybe a kid sees the writing on the wall at one of those schools.
