It's a battle for second place in the conference tonight when Oakland comes into town. It should be a fun game.

Yes it is a big game.
Not a word about it in the Fargo Forum sports section.
What a wonderful paper we have!

Oakland is a darn good team.
I think all but one Bison had two fouls at halftime?
There were a number of reasons for the loss, but
it was a night when the ball just didn't want
to go thru the hoop.
Oakland did not have that trouble tonight.
At halftime, it was 46% shooting vs 30% for the Bison.

Elephants Dream put it right. Oakland is a pretty nice team. 2 real good players that both scored over 20. They were all over us and never gave us a chance to get started. Seemed like everytime we'd get something going it would be a charge. We never gave up however and pretty musn maintained in the second half. I looked up in the first half and 4 of the 5 had 2 fouls. Something else was missing last night. I failed to spot Lakes, Bison, Mr. Burgandy and Slick Vic. Just me, Road and Elephants Dream.

The only way to regain the buzz/attendance for the women's program is (1) win with regularity (2) doubleheaders with the men whenever possible (like old NCC days).

Their game needs to be hooked to a main attraction for the average fan to discover the talent. Not saying the talent is there right now, but it will be within the next couple years with DeHoff at the helm.

I'm not convinced that even the best Bison women's teams would have drawn well on Saturday afternoons and Monday evenings (these times are terrible -- too much other stuff going on), especially when not followed by a men's game as well.

Yep, if the school wants people to go to these game and get to know the team they have to start playing back to back with the men on Saturday.
