Membership: 1900+, up over 200
Cash Donations: $2.1 Million (up $350,000)
Non-Cash Donations*: $400,000

* Half of that $400k is goods and services (which I understand), not sure what made up the other $200,000.

Does TM manage the athletic endowments or is that handled by NDSU or the Development Foundation?

The endowments are handled by the NDSU Development Foundation. Contributions to endowments are not included in the amount Teammakers raised.

***Breaking News****
ND Legislators push for investigation into NDSU Teamakers
January 22nd, 2009
Richard Longrod - Associated Press

State Sen. Bakke (R)-etarded and State Rep Mock (D)-ickhead announced today that they would like to form an investigative committee to look into NDSU athletic fundraising arm, known as "Teamakers". Sen. Bakke was quoted, "We need to make sure they are doing things by the book. It makes no sense how they can have growing membership and an increase of over $350,000 in donations. Not in this economic environment. I mean c'mon, they don't even have hockey?" State Rep Mock went even further with his comments. "NDSU needs to play fair. They can't possibly be raising this much money. Once the investigation is complete, I'll push for a motion that will make Teamakers to give a portion of their proceeds to UND's athletic department. It's only fair. After all, UND went to D-1 first with our, I mean their, hockey team. I won't stand by and watch UND fail in it's D-1 transition."

This investigative motion follows controversial legislation introduced early this week that would force NDSU to schedule UND in football. Both acts have been met with steep public critisicm and have many wondering how these guys ever got elected and if they really don't' have anything better to do
