I don't know anything about the kid, or how much he could help any program at QB, but he did take an official visit to SDSU in December - he was spotted at a basketball game. I don't know if we have offered since or not...

SDSU might be more desparate for a QB than NDSU. Obviously Berry graduated :banghead: , but our backup QB Crawford (will be a senior) who played three quarters in Fargo this last year is questionable to recover fully before next season from the hand he broke on the Fargodome turf. That leaves us with two QB's on the roster: Corey Jeske, a junior who played more special teams and safety this past year than QB, and Tommy O'Brien, a prized recruit last year who redshirted in 2008 and led the scout team.

We are a real good situation for a JUCO or FBS transfer QB to come in and compete for the job...the rest of our team is pretty stacked for next season.

What about Jake Christensen QB from Iowa who is transferring, I noticed he was Walker's back up in high school. He did seem to struggle last year and was eventually benched, but his sophomore numbers look solid.

Trust me when I say he did not have a good sophomore year. The reason he was benched is because he was still playing like he did as a sophomore. Didnt know when to throw the ball away, got happy feet and numerous other issues.
At time he would look good. At others abysmal.
